just a post.

she is sitting there in that armchair looking into the fire. praying.
she is sitting there sending out a plea that courage would be found.
she is sitting there wondering how it is to be done.
she is sitting there & an image floats through.
she sees family & dear ones & unkown ones too
standing around lifting prayers up to Him.
sending prayers to the Father for the light to be seen
she is sitting there in that armchair looking into the fire. realizing.
people are praying for this place she is in.
& people are praying that strength will be found.

if you were the mouse that is living in our house what would you see?
well if you were the mouse i would first recommend leaving & not sticking around to see for we are out to get you. said mouse has taken up refuge in the attic storage that has access to one of our ranchers rooms & has been enjoying late night feast on her goldfish crackers that she secures in her bottom dresser drawer. i have lost faith that we will catch this dear ralph for he has now dissapeared. except for the odd scritch scratch in the ceiling. i wonder is he riding a motorcycle aorund up there?
but if you were a mouse that had enough courage to stick around i can assure you you'd be running back to your little mouse colony with a very large collection of stories that may leave you puzzling & laughing for days.

within the kitchen you would overhear a rancher ask, "are there countries in Russia?"
you would then see a miss tiffany looking at her with a look that says 'did i hear that correct?'
the look would quickly disappear "well Russia IS the country, dear."
"but IS there countries there, Miss Tif ?"
puzzled. "are you meaning like states or provinces or territories?"
"yes"
"well, let me tell you a secret, i have never been to Russia. & i don't remember what i learned about Russia in school so i do not know if Russia has states. i bet you could check the encyclopedia when you go out to school tomorrow."
her eyes look at me. i can feel she is frustrated.
"i just don't think you are understanding what i am asking." *sigh*
& we move on to continue our preperations for supper as though this conversation never happened.
i am trying to hold back laughter & am wondering why that question entered her mind.
anyways.
research has shown that Russia is divided into 85 units that are called federal subjects. 21 of which are republics. republics have the ability to operate under their own constitution & establish their own language.
glad i could learn something knew.
& have a little laugh

you would take a break from your mouse hurrying & wanderings & stop during saturday cleaning when a new mop is assembled & watch as a rancher looks at me with bright eyes holding on the pure white fluff & says "Miss Tiffany, here's a new wig for you!"

you would pause in the living room to observe an interaction between myself & a rancher. prayers are sent up for i know that this conversation will hold a reaction of many feelings. level 3 expectations are not being met so i inform the rancher that i would like to give her the oppurtunity to think & figure out what she is missing. she is put on reflection. you would see tears & anger & confusion on her face. & then determination as she sits in silence intent on finding her missing action. to pass time your little mouse self would spend some time exploring under the couches & observing the silent colouring that is happening on the rug. after about 2 hours of silent thinking you'd see the light bulb moment as relief washes over her face. " i have not been doing yard work !"
one of the expectation of level 3 is that the rancher will spend at least 1 quiet time a week working out in the yard. showing us that she is able to take responsibility & do work on her own.
the rancher made a plan. i got to give her wristband back to her & have a really good discussion.
i think that after observing this interaction any mouse would be exhausted. so as circle prayers you would make your escape for you safe attic abode.

i do realize that is a very unique way to observe the ranch. i hope you enjoyed being a little mouse in this crazy house. life is real here. its hard. but we have much laughter in this life as well & i wanted you to catch a glimpse of the humour. things catch me off gaurd. questions i never once thought i'd be asked get asked. each day brings its challenges each day brings its joy.

the temperatures in this land dropped this past week. horse chores got a whole lot more interesting. snow fell on sunday. & a decent amount of it. ponds froze over & i was able to skate with the youth & play a little hockey :) i got happy that i could experience some winter here. even though it has become incredibly clear that i do not appreciate the cold.

if the ranch ever sneaks into your mind. please pray.
for that girl. that's sitting in that armchair knows that they are the only thing that keeps her going.

stay warm
stay safe
till next time
